Are you looking for a carpet cleaning company that will be in and out fast and cheap? Or would you rather have a company come in and spend the time to do a thorough carpet cleaning? You’ve come to the right place if you prefer the latter choice. Ardent does not rush any job but spends quality time doing the job right while following our industry’s written standards. Our focus is on providing quality carpet cleaning to our clients.
Chances are, if you’ve received bargain-price quotes from others, they are cutting corners to make that happen or simply trying to get their foot in the door to upsell. We don’t play those games. We do not claim to be cheap but fair and upfront. There’s no smoke and mirrors here.
At Ardent, we prioritize quality over quantity. Unlike many companies that fill their schedules with numerous jobs, we dedicate more time to each project. Many of our jobs require a half or full day. This approach allows us to treat each job as the most important, meticulously following established written standards. While our pricing may be higher than other companies, our clients can be assured of a thorough, high-quality service that leaves no stone unturned.
Most carpet manufacturers require professional cleaning by a certified technician every 12-18 months to maintain the warranty. If this does not occur, the warranty could be voided. That’s why it is essential to have an IICRC-certified firm or technician regularly clean your carpet. Generally, most carpet warranties do not apply or are voided for rental properties.
Having children, pets, or higher traffic may require more frequent cleanings. It is essential to maintain the carpet with regular vacuuming, ensuring the beater bar is set appropriately for the type and thickness of the carpet. Walk-off mats are also crucial as they allow a space for some or most soil to be removed from walking traffic before coming onto the carpeted areas.
If the carpet is not vacuumed and cleaned regularly, its filaments can become permanently damaged. Abrasive soils can scuff the filaments, leaving an irreversible, “dingy” appearance. Frequent vacuuming and regular cleaning are essential to the carpet's longevity.

02A thorough vacuuming with a commercial-grade vacuum cleaner is included as part of our standard cleaning service. Vacuuming the carpet before wet cleaning is crucial for an effective clean. This carpet had not been cleaned in some time. The homeowner was going to borrow a home machine from a friend to do it, but then saw us cleaning his neighbor's house.
03Cleaning and stain removal are separate issues. By definition, a stain cannot be cleaned out; instead, it requires a color correction. The homeowner stated that this stain had existed before they purchased the home and that their regular carpet cleanings had never been able to remove it. We were scheduled to section out this area of the carpet; however, we were able to perform a correction, which significantly reduced the appearance of the stain.
Our primary cleaning method is Water-Rinse Extraction, formerly known as Hot-Water Extraction. This method, which uses truck-mounted equipment, is often mistakenly referred to as 'steam cleaning' or 'carpet shampooing.' We strictly adhere to the established standards of the ANSI and IICRC. After a thorough carpet assessment, we provide an accurate estimate for the cleaning cost. Once approved, we commence cleaning, ensuring your carpets receive the best treatment. Answers to some commonly asked questions about carpet cleaning can be found on our FAQs page.
Heavy soiling, spots, stains, pet issues, or odors may require additional processes, treatments, and labor. These generally incur extra charges and affect the overall cleaning cost. If you want an accurate cost estimate, free consultations are available within 20 miles. A consultation fee may be assessed for areas beyond 20 miles.
The most recent, updated standard states that the carpet must be dry within 12 hours. Many variables affect dry time. We can’t control all of them, but there are others that we can. We do our best not to leave the carpets too wet and try to speed up the drying as much as possible.
Several factors determine the pricing of carpet cleaning. We charge per square foot, but rates vary depending on carpet density, soiling, pet issues, etc. Stairs are usually charged by the step based on the width of each. There is also a minimum setup fee. Pet issues such as urine or dander can increase the cleaning rate by 40-100%.
We offer free, on-site consultations to estimate your precise cost. These appointments usually last 20 minutes to an hour, during which we come to your home, measure, and assess the carpet. Additionally, we have a quote calculator if you’re looking for a ballpark quote.
