Why use Ardent Carpet Restore?

At Ardent Carpet Restore, our unwavering commitment to quality sets us apart. With years of experience and comprehensive education and training, we perform carpet repairs according to established written standards. We don’t just slap things together or cut corners; we follow procedures to ensure our repairs will last and stand the test of time.

Ardent stands by the quality of our repairs. We expect them to last the carpet's life, barring any new damages created by pets, children, or other unforeseen circumstances. We offer a minimum one-year warranty on the quality of our repairs. We will return to fix it if there’s a defect in the quality of the original repair (this excludes new damage caused by pets, children, rolling traffic, or other sources).

Repair of carpet damaged by a dog

My dog ate my carpet!

A pet destroying an area of carpet is a repair we handle frequently. We start by sectioning the damaged carpet with precise, clean-cut, straight lines and then install a donor piece, a process known as a bonded insert. We often use carpet from a closet, or 'attic stock' if available, for this repair. Additionally, we replace any carpet from a closet or other area with a scrap piece.

“Patch” vs. Bonded Insert

At Ardent, we don't do 'patches '. Those without certification or who haven't taken a carpet repair course often use the term. A 'carpet patch' is typically a hasty and subpar repair, unlike our meticulous and high-quality approach. Our goal is to ensure that the insert we install lasts the entire lifespan of the carpet, demonstrating our commitment to long-lasting solutions. Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee your pup, bunny, or cat won’t destroy the carpet again.

Replacing a Step

This homeowner had plenty of attic stock left over from the carpet installation. We opted to replace this entire bottom step rather than try to section in a repair on the bullnose.

The Cost

The cost of repairs can vary greatly. If you send us photos, we can try to provide a ballpark figure for some repairs; however, we will need to see the damage firsthand to measure and assess it. There is a minimum service charge of $300 for all types of repairs, and the minimum charge may be higher for outlying areas. We encourage people to schedule a free consultation for an accurate cost estimate before scheduling service.
